Intolerances - Allergy Testing
A Food Allergy is an adverse reaction to particular foods (e.g. Shellfish Nuts ) It can produce symptons such as a rash, or more life threatening that you could require medical attention, Food Allergies affect just a small amount of people.
A Food Intolerance however is far more common and affects many more people, the most common being Gluten and Wheat found in rye oats wheat and barley. In some people the effect on the digestive system causes gas and bloating. Dairy Intoloerance (cows milk) may have various causes, For some it is because of the lactose in the milk, and if you have an intolerance to milk then it follows you will have the sane reaction to cheese and butter.
